I have the greddy bolt on turbo kit that's gonna get installed on my 96 Civic EX coupe here in a couple days. The only thing the kit does not include is an EMU. The engine that was suppose to be in my car originally was a D16Y8 and it has the D16Z6(which came stock with the 92-95 Civic EX) instead. (I bought the car like that) It still has the OBDII ECU which is the P2P ECU. I already rewired the distributor to an OBDI distributor because it still had the OBDII distributor on it. OK so, in order to get my car tuned properly what am I gonna need? Keep in mind that I'm not gonna go crazy with this setup(what I mean is that the engine is still stock) and I've been told that I can lower the boost on the turbo since it's preset at 9psi and I want to go at most 7psi until I upgrade the necessary parts so I can run higher boost. All I want is for the engine to be properly tuned so it lasts me a good while. Oh and I don't have much to spend either. But I'm not gonna be a cheap ass about it either. Will an Apexi SAFC do it? What about Greddy E-Manage? I'm also using DSM injectors with the resistor box that came with it and a Vortech FMU. Thanx for the help guys!
