Just got asked a question about putting a stock gsr into a crx and its become a debate so here goes... Is the best way to convert to obd1 and use a P72 but when you do that don't you have to run the extra wires for the vaccume can that mounts under the manifold so it will open up the butterflies? I know you can run the vacuume directly to the dashpot and it will open anytime past 50% throttle. Or should we just run an obd0 Pr3 ecu and take the butterflies out? I do know the fuel map will not be optimal for a gsr or, is there a better solution anyone recommends? The debate is what will produce the best running finish.

I hate the stock GSR intake manifold - they are the biggest pain in the ass. You should swap the manifold before dropping it into the car.

Or just take out the butterflies.
