Sorry for the delay guys. I was getting some work done on the jeep and I finally have it back. I still have to install my flat, circle taillights and I have some black molding I'm going to put on the edge where we cut it. It should finish it off nicely for the time being. I also have to figure out what I want to do about my gas tank filler.

And put a Toyota motor and body on it.
then he would need more friends with jeeps so he could go wheeling.
I know, so he'd have someone to pull out all day.

That's the idea. I'll be stretched by next summer.

What's wrong with the spray paint? ;)
I'm actually in no hurry to paint it. Why waste money on that when I plan on wheeling it. I don't want to worry about scratching it or anything. I have my m3 to worry about for that stuff.

As long as you don't dave it into a river...
Looks good. That right rear shackle has to go man... :D When are you going to lift it up a notch?

Jeff, just got the lift kit this weekend. I'm going to install it this upcoming weekend. At the same time, I'll be replacing that right, rear shackle. :)

Nice, what kit did you end up with?
I think you should weld that weirdo shackle on as a hood ornament to remind you of your roots. :D

LOL about the hood ornament. I'll put a small oil drum on there with it. :D
I went with the rubicon express 2.5" kit. That way I can still use the springs if I go spring over. I also have a 1" body lift I need to put on.

On second thought, you really should be more worried about installing some sort of flotation/water diversion device.

Who would have thought you needed a snorkel in Colorado. You're slow dave, I've only had my jeep a couple weeks and its already got 32s and a couple inches. Get with it.

Got the rear springs on last night and got my circle tail lights installed. It's def bigger than I thought. I could prolly squeeze 37's on there now and 35's would look good. the 33's look small.

No shit.
So I discovered after ordering RuffStuff .375" diff covers that I misidentified my axle as a D35 a year and a half ago. It's a chrysler 8.25". Fortunately it's only costing me $10 to ship the D35 one back. He didn't even charge me for shipping to send the right one out. That's a bonus point.
The good news is that I was close to ordering my ECTED lockers and gears... all of which would have been totally wrong for the rear. Bullet dodged there. The shitty news is that they don't make the fucking ECTED for the 8.25 yet. FUCKRZ. I guess I'll have to just do the locker in front and the gears and go back and do the rear locker when they start making them, if they do.
My AJ's SuperRails shipped today. I'm seriously considering doing OBA and a winch when I do the gears and shit. We'll have to see...
