how do you connect a oil catch can on a ls/vtec? wat exactly does this do for my motor? anyone on here have it on there car?

I did mine from the PCV to the can, then can to a inlet on the intake manifold.

It helps prevent oil from getting into the intake manni.

You have a hose going from you valve cover to your air intake, its supposed to create a vaccume inside the head, at high rpm's your cams mist the oil under the valve cover and that vaccume will suck that oil mist out into your intake where it pools and can continue further into vac system, gunk up the tb, clog up a MAF or MAP, etc... a catch can is put between between the air intake and valve cover to catch the oil. You have to pierodically drain the catch can or else it'll fill up and you'll have oil back in your air intake.

^^^ there is little to no vacuum in your intake pipe unless you have a restricted air filter. that breather hose is just to recirculate fumes from the crankcase so they get burned in the engine, as opposed to being released into the atmosphere.

there is actually a factory oil catch can on the motor already. its the black box on the back.

o ok ima just put it to the valve cover and intake and pretty much just have it there for show! and be a real ricer! lol thanks for the tips guys i appreciate it!
