Just curious if any of you DA guru's might know a common issue with the seatbelts not working randomely. The drivers side one decided to stop moving back(with the door closed). The passenger one works fine. This has happened once or twice before but then it would just start working again.
Thanks for any info.

stuck motor? Have you tried to manually give it a push to see if its attempting to move?

my bro-in law's passenger side doesn't work, the fuses are good, i figure the motor was bad.
maybe the contacts in your motor or door switch are going out.

Hey, apparently this is a problem that plagues the g2's,
http://www.g2ic.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1743&stc=1&d=1091413993, this is from the owner's manual. From what I read on g2ic, people just went in to their Acura dealer and asked nicely, they are supposed to fix them free charge, providing that they aren't cosmetic or comfort issues. Here's (http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23782&highlight=Auto+seatbelt) the thread, for reference.

Hell yeah. Thanks a lot.
Too bad the closest Acura dealer to me is in Boulder.
But thanks again!

Actually , they wont cover electrical issues in the wiring.. only the component themselves. They do cover mechanical failure and electrical component issues. That's the risk when you go to the dealer.
Most of the time; it is covered by the warranty..

check the fuse. there are 2 fuses in the engine compartment fuse box, one for each side, check that first.
