Here's the stock "power plant".

New motor is a 295 hp 2007 Vortec 5.3L, & 4L60E from an '07 K2500 Silverado. Some guy bought truck brand new in Anchorage, drove 15 miles from dealer, rolled it, totalled it, sold motor/tranny to my buddy for a pretty good deal.

No this is not me in this pic, lol.

I would also guess that is going to be quite the bitch to wire up! The making it fit in there would be the easiest part.

It's already wired and running, it wasn't too bad. It is pretty badass. Only real fab work other then the mounts was a custom rear shaft, everything else fit perfect.

The 4l60e from the chevy, he bought an adapter for his 231 t-case from advance adapters.
