I actually saw a thread about this on Honda-tech... What I've heard is that they are made very cheaply(it looks kinda cheap too)... Plus you only save about 900 bucks... Might as well go with a brand that has a reputation to back it up... in my personal opinion I wouldn't buy it...

If you want a Vtwin 650, try looking at the Suzuki SV650(S).

Thirded.

Hyosung might be hard to find parts/maintenance, at least until they are more established. Plus, they look really outdated. Buy a late model used, name-brand japanese bike. The SV is fun as hell and very rider-friendly.

Agreed. It replaced the TL1000R (love the TL).

With full kit on it, it looks really good too.

I've wanted a TLR for a long time, but they're getting old, and I'm starting to lean toward the Z-1000 as a next summer purchase.

I am Korean but as much as I hate to say it, I will probably never own a Korean bike....

With 6k there are much better alternatives out there. But it would be a funny sight to watch someone on a Hyosung passing people through the turns in the twisties or at a track!!!!

What is the diffrence of a V-twin and an Inline 4. How does it ride? The RPM arch. Weight. Things like that.

A twin will have a flat powerband. Not peaky like an inline 4. Much more predictable powerband. Also you can recognize it by sound, instead of the smooth sound of an inline 4, it will have a more hmmmm, haha, I can't put it into words. Closest I can describe it is like the boxer rumble from a WRX/STI.....

If you have friends with bikes, heres a short list of twins:
harley's
tl1000r or the s model
rc51
ducati's
aprilia mille
sv650/1000
ninja 650r

Thanks. I have always love Kawasaki. I hope to take it to a track some time. I lost all love for cars, save a few (BMW and other exotics)
