I just got my car back from butch and it is sweet, that B16A pulls hard all the way through 4th. I had the car in VTEC most of yesterday, from the front D. Vtec sounds mean as hell but the rear is just a buzz when you go past 4500 rpm. I guess the exhaust will make me sound like a ricer, oh well I have more speed to back it up this time. 15's 1/4?? I've got I/H/E. Thanks again Butch, you did a great job on the installation and getting my car running again. And also thanks for letting me use the header, If anyone ever needs parts for your honda you may want to check out www.sohfast.com, they got the parts to me on time and hooked me up on parts (some brand new for cheap $$).

Nice, I remeber when I first got my car back. VTEC all day long :)

My little brother had the exact same setup. B16A in a 94 Civic dx, that is. It was pretty quick, he ran a couple tenths faster than my car ('01 GSR i/h/e) when I was down in Arizona visiting them. I think his best was 15.1. He had i/h/e and race cat on the car too.

I sometimes miss my CRX, but only when it was running right...but then I feel some boost in my ride and I'm all better :)

I'm loving this right now, I think I drove in VTEC all day long (agian). The only down side is the Vtec crossover isnt very nasty besides the exhaust buzz. I hope I have it broken in before the next club clash.

as far as the exhaust goes.. yeah it's a little too loud.. but that's my way of thinking....i like sleepers too much..

Hey Eric!! if yousa gonna run that thing so hard, i'd like to cover up that timing belt(valve cover) before you find a rock or sumthin in there.. i'll take it to work and keep it there till you get the other things on order.. we can do it all at once.. or did you want to paint(powdercoat) the valve cover?

well it doesnt look that good as is... paint is coming off in some spots... it needs to be cleaned and repainted(or otherwise).. but i'm more interested in function over form right at this moment.. i want Eric's engine to stay running.. and the cam covers are missing on the polished one he has now..
i'm just afraid a rock or something else will get in there and fuck his t belt(cam timing+bent valves) up.. is all..
i know he stretched every dollar he had to put this together and i dont want something so trivial to screw it up...

Damn drivin in that car is a blast! You did a damn good job butch! Now i need to get my cars swap done :D I think we need to go V8 Huntin in the beast. The whole screamin like a girl thing happens only when im drunk! I also get this funny Kermit voice thing goin, but i was girlified by the cars pull my first time in it :D

i would call THIS a good thing...
it doesnt matter what the effect it has, as long as it gives good vibes....i had a lot of fun putting it in.. i was challenged by the wiring part,but only because i wasnt sure how much work was needed to make the dx harness work in with the stuff i added in.. it really wasnt as bad as i thought, and the other wiring was part of the challenge anyway. as far as power goes. i did expect more than it had,,, well, i guess i'm spoiled by my car.. sheesh!!! what can i say? i liked the coupes response to the swap better than mine.. sooo smooth .. i want to build my 93 coupe into something insane... let's say a legend V6 swap? with say.. a twin turbo? lotsa work ahead of me..
especially with a twin turbo setup on top of that

well all i can say.. is thanks.. i know i have been well tainted, but SASHA had bad numbers.. vs results.. this is true.. i surprised A LOT of people(including myself) by what she does,but i need to make it all work out.. somehow, aww maybe i'm nutz....

I cant thank you enough butch the car is awesome right now, I do agree with you about the valve cover, I know I'd rather have a running engine then a timing belt that is shot to shit. I think you need to keep us updated on that legend TT swap, that thing is gonna be fast. IF you see this before you take off from your work grab that valve cover and swap that out or something.

damn it, I just got an Ex gauge cluster and the autometer tach is way off from my stock tach. Time to pull the Autometer tach!

my best run was a 15.9, with a cracked header, stock airbox, and stock exhaust with tenzo R muffler.

I'm thinking of keeping the hatch, doing intake, 4-1 header, and full exhaust, and i can drop my times to what ted is running in his hatch :)

maybe + cam gears, fuel rail, and FPR, better clutch, maybe high 14's? :)

The tach was off 500 Rpms or so, once Vtec hit the needle just bury's itself in no time, by the time I hit 8 or so on the O.E. tach the autometer was at 7500 rpm. Kinda strange.

The funniest time was when i was with Eric(ViolatorRH00) and it was the first day he had his B16 in. Anyways, we were goin to superior to go get his back seats from storage and this red mustang GT "usuk: pulls up next to us and starts revving. Well Eric just gently throws it down and were holding with this guy through second and Eric started to pull away in 3rd. LOL, that was the funniest day of my life.
Oh and P.S. I LOVED THE nissan skyline GTR emblem on the side.:D
