I know it's been posted on here before, but where are some powdercoating places in Denver/metro? I think I'm just gonna powdercoat my BBS wheels and I'll like em more...

Thanks

I know it's not in Denver but I met a guy named Chris the other day with a red civic dx hybrid. He had his done for $100 for all 4 of them but it's up in Fort Collins. I've heard of places charging close to $100 per wheel so it might be worth it.

$100 per wheel is steep unless its a custom color. But if that includes sandblasting and is a custom color its not a horrible price.

I talked to Mile High Powder Coating a little bit ago, and they would charge 165...not too bad. I think I'm gonna go gunmetal and leave the lip polished!

Yeah I agree. My friend Chris's were done for $100 for all four of them. $25 bucks a piece. That included Sandblasting. The place is in between Loveland and Longmont. I'll find out the name for ya just in case you feel like saving $65.

I've always had my powder coating work done by "Denver Bumper Works" on 8th and I-25. Their prices are reasonable...and they have a plethora of colors to choose from..including powder coat chrome... you should check them out....they strip....sandblast..and coat anything metal....They just coated my HKS IC pipes in yellow for the show...turned out great....

how many days do they need to powdercoat rims or valve cover?

I'm about to get new tires put on. Maybe I should get my wheels done before i get the new tires on.

believe it or not...sometimes....whether or not they are busy...they can have same day service....I have had them powder coat numerous sets of rims.....Every time I have a white car...I always get big rims....and powder coat them white....call them up...they are in the book.....ask for Curt...hes one of the owners....tell them I sent ya......let them know what you want...and they will be upfront with you.. Get your wheels powdercoated prior to putting the tires on....

good to hear they might be able to do same day service. don't want the car to look too ghetto up on blocks.
