Wow, that was probably one of the most brutal videos I've seen. Stealing is a crime, but if it was just like a shirt or something, that was a bit over board. They probably won't be caught stealing again though.

I was glad to see someone step in at the end there. When you are throwing solid cinder blocks at someone's back who is already disabled on the ground, you've gone too far. This is stealing, not rape.

Who knows what these guys stole? when you are a business owner, a loss of any merchandise would make you feel the exact same. Its their livelihood (spelling?) and if these guys were stealing something of fair value, I say they deserved it?

I'm not sure there's any crime that deserves that. If it was a such a bad thing (everyone seems to think rape is the worst thing imaginable) then just take them out back and shoot them, then bill the family/next of kin for the bullet.

Last time I was in china I saw something simularl from my hotel. Guy steals a purse guy catches him and starts beating the ish out of him. People walking by ask whats going on he says he is a thief. Guys start pulling mag flash lights from thier scooters and other things and start beating this guy. The group of beaters turn into a crowd and they beat this guy over and over again.

Finally the cops show up and I am thinking to myself thank god this is going to stop. The cops stop the crowd and talk to them then they walk over to the van and let the mob have at him again!! My mom told me afterwards that the cops are only required to ask them to stop but dont have to stop anything. After the mob is done with him I see the cops fill out a piece of paper and show it to the thief I see him refuse to sign. Then the cops light into this guy beating him with batons and kicking him in the face etc. He finally signs the paper and they throw him into the van and drive off. I walk down to where they beat this guy and there are huge puddles of blood everywhere and teeth.

My mom explained to me that the cops in the province where I was are judge, jury and executioners. The piece of paper that I saw is filled out with crime and sentence then off you go, no court systems. Then she told me it has gotten better I was like WTF I guess before cops would just blast people that comitted crimes. Lesson dont touch anything that isnt yours in Mainland China!!!
