Well lately many of you know my car wouldn't start after my back to stock swap and for the life of me couldn't figure out what in the hell was going on. Well I think that the engine sat to long and dried out the cylinders and it wasn't getting enough compression so after reading other posted about how putting oil in the cylinders to make compression I went out and tried it. The first time I did it it started up and then died. So I thought well I bet the plugs are fouled from the oil. I took them out, cleaned them and retried it again. This happened for about 4 times till I went and charged my battery really good. This time I took the spark plugs out, added oil, sprayed them with ether and put them in real fast and then just cranked it till it was running real nice. Thats the problem with engines that have been sitting a while. So to all future swaps remember this. If everything seems in order and it won't start put some oil down in the cylinders.

you have no idea. Every time I do something to my car something like this happens. But I am glad it didn't take as long as the other times. A couple of times my car would sit for 6-10 months before I figured out what was wrong with it. But that was when I didn't know much about cars. Now the problems just become abnormal and nobody knows what is going on.

Yeah now I have a bunch of civic stuff to sell. I put that radiator in my 93 prelude and I can use the o2 sensor for it to since it didn't have one. I also have a ZC manifold I think I am going to put on my crx. It looks like a cast header 4-2-1 instead of 4-1. I ended up using my centerforce clutch since it has held up for 3 years and still has most of the pad left. The other clutch has lots left on it also. I think I am going to sell it.
