on a bike or in a car?
The fastest I have ever been was on a 99 Hayabusa. I was the passenger.
155mph with another gear to go. He had to shut it down because of a stoplight. What a rush.
I know some of you guys have gone faster in your cars, John I'm looking at you, so post it up!

I've gone 115ish in my car on the highway in both Utah and in Colorado. The car is just as stable going that fast as it is at 65, but it's the driver that starts to sweat bullets :)

I went 140 or 150 in my SI on the highway stretch between monument and castlerock. I have a picture of it somewhere. Pretty scarry at that speed. I've only gone 120 or 130 in my GTI, but it still had a lot of power and rpm's left.

Dayum! I've only had my SI up to 120 and I thought THAT was scary.
Slightly in excess of 180, very recently.

around 160ish in my tsi racing a T/A to Wyoming it was so freaking scarry but the car held ground, if I had pushed it harder it probably would have gone faster ? I went about 130 in my SHO it's pretty stable at that speed but nothing more.

i pegged my 160mph speedo(although i am sure it is way off at that speed) and that does NOT feel good in a 30 year old car on the original suspension.

My stock GSR I got up to 140mph indicated on the speedo. Had a little more left in it too, maybe 1000rpms in 5th. My bikes, I think 165mph indicated is about as fast as I've gonem, on two wheels. On one wheel, about 110mph :)

i hit 135 when i still had my speed govenor.....now thats gone but I havent done any more top speed runs.......yet.......

I buried the needle in my Si so that was around 120 indicated. On my bike I have seen 160 indicated. And I havent ran teh Jetta that hard yet. Personally I am not a fan of top speed runs in a car on the highway. Now on my bike that is a different story all together.

125 mph plenty of times.
Need to switch my VTEC controller to get rid of the speed limiter but 125 is fast enough for me, for now.

When the car was stock I hit about 150ish across Nebraska at 2:30am coming home from Omaha. I don't think I'm gonna try to break that record but I think it might have another 10mph or it just might get to 150 quicker.

Dayum! Most I've pushed mine is 120 - 125. I never have tires I trust installed....

My car will go 0-112 in about 14 sec. damn speed limiter... I need to fix that soon, I hit it right at the traps now

i went 130 ish in the civic(speedo over minimum)just a few weeks ago(scary feeling)
but when i was 17 i was doing 145 in a maverick set up for pro street(i dont know how i didnt wet my pants)and i couldnt stand up straight for an hour after i got out(knees were knocking too bad)we got to that speed so fast i was teriified.

ive never been faster than 135 in my turbo neon..The car started to float cause of how bad the aero-dynamics of neons are. I about shit my wheaties then i decided i better let off the throttle. BTW this was in georgia.

I've done an indicated 145 in my Integra, but I am 100% sure that the speedo is way off at that speed.

130 in a 97 Teg LS (stock at the time). Probably could have gone higher.
Could have beat that and hit 140's last night, but I'm less crazy nowadays.

I got my car up to 115 a few times, It feels much better with the b16A though, it seems more sturdy with less body roll.

Ivee had the Brick up to 125, extremely stable, actually suprisingly stable, but the fastest ive ever been was in my dads 88 911, in NC down US 1 goin about 162, things go by really fast! theere were no cars on the highway that day, im sure forum can tell you how wierd that is, its usually packed at 12PM, and thats when we did it
