I didnt know where else to post but my car is a front wheel drive so this is a front wheel drive post. So my SE-R Spec V needs new tires... Tires Plus is trying to charge me 196.75 for each tire(including installation and balance). Bridgestone Potenza G009 BL. I understand the wheels are 17's but c'mon I'm not getting like nice tires, or fast rated tires or anything. I just want ok tires to drive around with since this car is only a daily driver. Does anyone have any friends at a tire place that can hook me up with a discount or does anyone know anywhere I can get a cheaper price than that? LMK, thanks.

Seconded. I know its probably not the case anymore, but when I bought my Kumho 711s (I know they're crappy, but I just needed something to drive on), they were like $44 apiece. Shipping was around $40, mount/balance was $12 each at Discount. So new 17" tires for ~$250 total.

They suck for grip, and they're pretty loud on the highway, but they're pretty comfortable. However they have been discontinued, I just looked. You can find something comparable for a little more $ at tirerack.

So you either bought another one, or you totally came up with a bullshit reason for not selling it?

Telling me you sold it to someone else after you agreed to sell it to me is 10,000x more dick than just telling me the truth, which is that you decided to keep it.

Whatever man... can't you just get over it? I posted for the person I sold it to. Which is now my roommate... The reason why I said "my, I.." is because I didn't think anyone would care.. but I guess I'm wrong. Do you want me to take a picture of the registration and email it to you to show you is not my car?

What size 17" tires? There are some Suby folks selling off their RE070s for anywhere from $400-500. They are great summer tires that stick like m@ on a fat girl. :D

He ended up getting them from tirerack and is getting them installed over at walmart
