Hey guys, I just replaced my stock stereo, and I left a CD in the stock stereo. Is there a way to get it out without powering the damn thing on and/or breaking the stereo apart? It would be nice if you could tell me there is a manual eject button like we have on our CD-ROM drives in PCs.

it has to be powered up or taken apart.

Take the 2 minutes and touch the power wired to the battery (positive) and chassis(negative). Or, a battery charger will work fine in place of your battery.

I've not seen a manual eject on any CD head unit, but then I've never really looked for one.

John is right. I had to do this once. It seriously only takes like two seconds. Just hook the power to a battery and the negitive to a ground and hit eject. I used a jump box at the dealership I was working at at the time.
