So I'm picking up a new board and bindings tonight. Probably gonna get a burton board but I don't know what bindings to get. Can anyone give me some feedback on some bindings out there? Thanks!

Burton bindings are pretty good, and would go well with the board. What ever bindings you get, make sure they have toe cups. Mine don't, and I rode a friends board with them, they really hold your boot in tight.

I've got a Never Summer board, RIDE Preston bindings, and DC boots. Absolutely love the combo.

So I'm guessing that you already have boots? You'll definately want to take those with you when your looking at bindings to make sure everything fits snug. A lot of it come down to personal preference. I prefer binding with a solid aluminum base, because their more stout for me, and i seem can control the board better. Also I know people who have snapped hard plastic bases.
Some people don't like aluminum bases because they are usually heavier, but I haven't had any problems. I have a Sims board with Sims Lithium bindings and I like them alot.

My last board was a never summer and it had preston bindings. I had no complaints other than it was a 145 or something like that and I'm 6'1. I like the never summer boards but I'm gettting a deal on the burtons so I'll be happy with that.
Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to check out some places on my lunch and look at some stuff in person. I figured burton or ride would be some good bindings to go with.

You sure its not Technine? I've never heard of Technique.
Also for wideboards, depending on how good your deal is with Burton, I would suggest you look at a Ride Yukon.

The Burton missions are great and they were cheap too when I got them back at Ski-Rex + friend discount! I've ridden Ride and Burton binding and it's a very hard decision between the two companies but toe caps FTW!

Burton bindings with the toe cap FTMFW
i have some P1 carbons and they are super responsive, only gripe is how careful i have to be when i strap in, that ladder straps are pretty fragile if you step on them!

Yeah, I have been real happy with Technine/Never Summer combo. I need to replace the straps some time, but I have had the setup since 2000.

If there are any of you guys that half ride park and half ride the mountain, what do you guys ride? I'm in the hunt for a new board. I have now a GNU that is way too stiff for park riding. I was leaning towards a Rome board since I've heard some good things about them.
