Well, it finnaly happened...RIP D15

It finnaly happened, I was driving to work and my motor blew. Just driving along and it sounded like a blown gasket (I know this thanks to Brickstylz). Now it sputters and stalls when I start it up and lacks more power then it started with. Oh well 178k miles and it finnaly called it quits. Next time I'll put more oil in the car...ooopps! It's time for the B16A.

i remember when i blew the motor in my 90 crx si, and my stock D16Z6 in my hatch :D

in the crx i was on the diagnal going to my old job (Fisher Honda, in boulder) and the motor had a spun bearing, so i made it worse :o it blew, and there is still an oil spot from last year on the side of the road where i pulled it over :o


and my hatch, i was going to the westminster mall with a friend, and the car died in the turn lane, i started it up, and it seemed like it ran on 2 cylinders. drove it, parked it, then went inside. when i went outside, i started it. klunk,klunk, boom :o it died right there :o

2 motors in 5 months :D

I havent found out whats wrong with the engine yet, but hopefully I can get the motor in sat., if so I will ;wor; 12seccivy

I'm not sure either, all I know is I got some good times and good memories out of the little 1.5 engine. Now for better things...Hopefully Sat.

Pushin your car home with mine was kodak moment stuff, hehe. People were lookin at me all wierd and one bitch even flipped me off, i was like, WTH?? I had my hazards on and everything, oh well, with the b16 in it now, makes the D15 seem like nothin, oh wait it was nothin ;)

The D15 was nothing but a heavy drinker, I put a quart or two into it and then It would burn it within that week. Oh well, now for better things aka DOHC VTEC
