yeah thatd be me :) jw what kinda times you guys run... what sort of things you like doing to your cars... im just out scoping competition like any good boy does haha... but yeah, hit me up with a few mods you guys do and what sort of gains you see of of them. Also lemme know how a slightly modded sixer stang would do running against your cars... and be honest ;) im not looking to start any flame wars at your site... just looking around. so cmon... post some replies... and remember, i admit losses too...

just curious, what does your car run 1/4 cuz this kid i know ran a best of 19.4 in his 6, im sure its just cuz he sucks at driving, but ide like to know what his car is capable of with a competent driver

and i dont think most people on here go for the body mods, its usually all underhood

ive never run my car so im not sure what it would do. Mines an auto too, but the 19's seems way too high. In the 94-98 model id say a poor driver can do low 16 to high 15's. IN a 99 and up with the added 40hp theyll easily go 15's and a really good driver might be able to get high 14s stock... not many do though. If i were to have about a 75 shot in my car with 3.73's, i could look at getting around 14.5 the way i am now, im guessing id run low 16s

oh btw SC-MECHAM-WS6, that is one nice ass T/A... dear god id love to have that thing. What do you run with that s/c in there? i saw ur dyno and almost 600 hp... jesus christ. find out where you live and take that car of yours lol... and leave mine in its place as common courtesy haha

but props to you man, that thing is kickass

You gotta add about a sec and a half to those times, we're at altitude of course! The one's I've seen at bandi are in the 17.5 to 18.7 range. The V6 Camaros and Firebirds are in the 17 flat to 18 flat range. I do admit, that is a nice looking stang, if you shave the badges on the sides you'd be one thing away from pulling off your car as a GT, and that would be the motor. Welcome to HAI:Beer:

hey, there is this chic with an 00 mustang v6 5-speed, & she wants to know what she can do to her car to beat me consistently. she already had a GT exhaust & AEM CAI, i dont rememebr what else, but it wasnt much.

any suggestion for her?

tell that girl to go to www.3.8mustang.com we'll hook her up over there... some things i could think of off the top of my head are the basic bolt ons... intake, pulley, and you said she had exhaust. If she really wants to spend some money... she could get a dragon pack from www.stungbymystang.com thatd add about 50-80 hp... this includes p&p intakes, RR, cam and i think thats it... all for about 1500-2000 installed. Then if she wants even more power after building up the internals... she could get a power adder... nitrous or s/c... s/c would be better, but with good internals like that she could do both... id guess a stang with those mods, a new rear end, and a nice suspension would run high 11's

Here's my car. Fast? Yes. Has it had trouble with ANY mustang to date? No. Not yet. :) I've heard rumblings of mustangs in CoSpgs with dual T66 turbos on a v8. I have a single T66 on an inline 6 w/183 cubic inches. Those mustangs would probably be a good match for the car...

But alas, the car will soon be moving to Minnesota with its new owner. And I'll be driving a slow econobox.

But for now, I get to drive a 626+ rwhp monster on the street. Every day.

I have a Honda. Yes. Laugh it up, please. But what else would you expect from an import site? It's actually a '96 Acura Integra GS-R. I've done a few set-ups, but the current one is a built motor, turbocharged and intercooled.

Last night I met up with some guys with 5.0's, they wanted to see some 110 cubic inches of fury, and that's what they got. Apparently, I raced their 'fastest' grey one, which was from a roll. I could have downshifted into 2nd, but I chose 3rd, as soon as I shifted into 4th I jogged right past him and that was it. I let off, the HKS super sequencial blow-off valve sounded signaling another vicory in the yet-to-be-defeated (on the street) Turbo set-up.

The motor is now taunting 8.5:1 Arias pistons, Eagle rods, a block guard and around 14psi.

This should be good enough for 11's :)

hey acurabro, how the hell do u do that? I'm 9:1 @ 15 psi, 325whp@2700lbs (stock internals, thick ass head gasket) and can only get a 13.6! please tell me what you did diffrently, or drive my car for me since i can't seem to do it. also, why 8.5:1 when only runing 14psi, isn't that awfuly low compression for just 14lbs? wait a minnet, what do you way in at?

Oh you got it right there at the end. Try gutting the hell out of your car and you might run what AcuraBro does. Also, he may have different cams then you, not sure anymore. His car is awesome! Get some slicks too!

nice kill

Beer:

everyone in a mustang believes that they are the fastest ones out there when most of the guys that drive mustangs don't do shit to there cars besides the obvious I/H/E so they aren't the king of the road. if they really knew what they we doing they could have a hell of a street monster with a 5.0

hey acurabro, how the hell do u do that?

It was the 2nd to last run on the night, so it was colder, and I have my car weighing 2225 w/o me in it. I was using 20"/8"/14" M/H Slicks, launch at 7,000rpm. My 60' was a 1.8 sec. I hate to say this, but the run could have been about .5 sec faster if it weren't for my IC piping blowing right off the turbo 7/8 the way down the track, I thought I blew the motor and turned the car off... coasting across the finish at 99.19mph. Earlier in the night, I had a run of 13.2 @ 107mph, so I don't know, the 12.8 should have been.......?

Just found out you have thee GReddy kit, so you have the smaller Mitsubishi 18G turbo, and I have the bigger Turbonetics T3/T04E. What's with the GReddy kit not coming w/ an FMU & fuel pump? You did get the intercooler option, didn't you?

I don't really know how to explain it aside from that, it was the stock deltagate on there when I did it, so the boost couldn't have been pasta 7psi. 8.5:1 C/R is low, but I'm running it on the street w/o any kind of tuning right now, so that's why.

Yeah, those mustang guys were kinda wack, after I raced one and beat it, they all wanted to go. I just didn't want to get full of pride and have to take 'em all down.

Are you sure you were only at 5psi? I know it was a prety close race and cars with his same turbo kit trap at 119 and run high 11's-low 12's. His car dynoed at like 460 to the ground. you told me your self that his car prob. had a high 11 in it.

AcuraBro

Yeah, I know I was at 5psi, maybe 6, but that's as high as that Deltagate would go, of course after the pressure drop across the FMIC.

this is my car a 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T. is ia fast? Not necessairly fast, but I say quick. I like the sleeper thing I have going with it:) I honestly do not think any V6 stang would really be able to beat it without a shot of notrous or some boost. As far as mods all I have are an APR chip with stock, 93 and race programs. I have an atp 3' downpipe, Airtek CAI, forge DV and energy suspension motor mounts that I have not had time to install. Boraturbo with a very similar setup runs 14.4's up here with the 91 octane program. So I assume I can run right aroudn those same times.
