Has anyone lost a birth certificate and a photo ID?

So I've lost my ID and birth certificate quite a while ago. I need the birth certificate to get my license ID. But I need a photo ID to get my birth certificate. Errrr... what do I do?

i had to write a letter to the county i was born in for a certified copy of it. had to send them a copy of my social security card, and any ol id.

yeah, the birth certificate is a relatively painless process to get another copy of. Lose your Social Security card, though, and it gets ugly.

They are both easy to get back. I am from NC and I had to get both a ss card and a BC. Just prove through info that you are who you say you are then then in 2 weeks about you can get it.
