i have a red 2004.5 Audi A4 1.8t Ultrasport (yes, the year.5 makes a difference...stupid Audi and their mid-year changes).

Go Mods:
KKK/Borg Warner k04-15 turbo
380cc Siemens Deka Injectors
GIAC Programming and Flash Switcher
Neuspeed Turbo Inlet Pipe
SuperSprint Test Pipe
Thermal R&D cat-back exhaust (includes DP)
Evolution Motorsport Intake
Custom Heat Shielding
OEM Audi S4 21mm rear solid sway-bar
AMS Short Shifter
APR engine snub mount
A bunch of other little crap

Stop Mods:
Zimmerman 312mm (up from 288mm) drilled and slotted front rotors
Pagid "orange" race pads front, Pagid "Sport Blue" pads rear

Show Mods:
Center-Vent Boost Gauge
Aluminum Pedal Covers
OEM Ultrasport package (body kit, 18x8 wheels, interrior trim)
MOMO Silver Carbon "Shot" knob and boot
A bunch of other little crap

dyno results:
300 CHP corrected/244 uncorrected (225 AWHP corrected/183 uncorrected). plenty of torque as well...just dont have the uncorrected #s with me here at work...300+ ft/lbs is about right). accurately calculated 25% DT loss due to quattro AWD system, dyno'd 25+ pulls at MAC autosport.

tuning experiance:
race file developer for 2002-2005.5 B6 frame Audi A4 for GIAC FX injector and program file for the stock k03 turbo. development work continues from time to time.
self-tuning ability via seperate programming. I can adjust timing, fueling, idle speed, rev-limiter, and a host of other things should the need arise via laptop. fortunately the car is dialed in right no so i dont have to do this too much any more.

now you all have a little more of an idea about me!

I was wondring if i seen this car. Very nice! I seen you a bunch of times in interlocken. Love it all minus the audi stickers. . . To bad im not in Interlocken anymore. I also seen you on 287 the other day turning left (east) on Midway. I was gonna give you thumbs but you didn't look my way. Plus i was in my beater so you wouldn't have noticed me anyway...

i work up in broomfield, live in denver, so im all over the damn place.

the vinyl was for a show in october...and then i got lazy and didnt take it off. now its even worse because its cold out, which means its even more difficult and time consuming to take off....so itll wait for a nice warm spring day...but that shit is coming off...lol.

64k miles on the clock so far.

issue-wise....typical little bugs when i first got it...steering angle sensor went out.

since that valve cover gasket, a rear brake problem (the result of so much torque and the traction control system freaking out) and a couple little things...coil packs go out all the time...its a VW/Audi flaw on the 1.8t motor...they are on revision "r" of the coils now if that means anything...lol.

other than that, not really. daily driven and running strong!

yeah audi has gone through plenty of coil designs that's for sure. are you still running OEM coil packs? i have heard rumors about using "napa type" (or equivilent, i forgot the name of the company that makes generic audi parts) coils and how they don't seem to have the same issues that the factory ones do.

there are aftermarket solutions, but the compatable ones run for roughly $500, and when OEM coils can be had for less than $30 a copy, you get the point there. I've had three go so far, and keep an extra in the trunk at all times. so far, ive spent about $100 on coils (they can be had for $25 or less online...if you are just replacing a replacements and dont have to stop by the stealership) so going the extra mile coil wise doesnt seem economically sensible...there has been no real proven improvement in performance other than reliability with the aftermarket system available.

oh...this place will be no less friendly than the audi forums i surf. Audizine.com's B6 fram a4 forum is the most brutal collection of huge e-penises (i.e. tiny in real life) known to man. you would seriously think it was a monster truck forum that way...lol.

i'm actually a bigger fan of the OEM ultrasport kit...although if i were to pick aftermarket it would be reiger. i need to drop it a bit when the potholes fill in....maybe put a CF front lip on it...thatll make it bangin!

Nice looking Audi. :) Definately good to see some other audi owners over here..I own a VERY vanilla A4 1.8t myself (2003) been loving the car so far. The new 2dr A4 coming out makes me want to seX0r it however..trying to decide if I should throw money at my car or just save up some and get the 2dr model. Hrmm..

just larger injectors and a matching file wil dramatically change the dynamic of your car...at ~$1000 total for the chip, injectors, multiple programs, and the program switching handheld...you cant go wrong! thatll get you to near 230chp corrected without intercooling and exhaust...not bad from 170! $17 per HP aint bad!
