Hit 13's finally

Last friday I finally hit my first 13!

2.2 60' to a

13.75 @ 103.80

Damn it's about time. This was with a full interior minus my sub box. Car weighed 2405lbs with me in it and about 1/3 tank of gas. Run was at 14 psi with a little bit of 100 octane for safety sake. Gonna put the car on the dyno on Friday maybe to tune it and make some good power.

On the same night... My fiance took 1st place!! What a great night!

Nice work Dan, congrats on your girls win too. She was pretty exited all night, every time I saw her she was cheering about somthing. All I came home with Friday was a third round loss and the season points championship. ;)

Good to see dude. Looking at the quickest time list, It goes Me, then you in the Honda camp for 1st and 2nd. Unfourtunatly, we don't have anyone else in the 12's or 13's. When are we gonna throw some slicks on and get her time even quicker???

I gotta give my brother a hard time for just a second .. See, he was really holding out all season on the 13. He wasn't really ready for it, and just kinda let off on a run or played like he didn't have the power it took on another.. But, that sure changed once him and I finally got a chance to race each other that night... On the run just before his first 13, I was on the left and he had the right lane. When the green light lit, I had left earlier (.522 light) and left him checkin out my exhaust pipe. It was pretty amazing how close the run was... Almost all of the numbers were pratically identical. At the end of the run, we pulled around to get slips, and the kid tells me, "You need a helmet." I knew the run was fast, but didn't expect him to tell me that and thought that Dan had grabbed his 13... SO, to shorten up the story, Dan couldn't have it that my heavier car was faster, so he had to quit foolin' around and throw down. He ended up with a 13.7 that night, and then down to 13.4 at test and tune soon after...

Now, should we meet again.. I'll have to play some tree games or something, as the little red rocket is obviously much faster.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! Newest time is in the sig... I wonder if it has a 12 in it? Still daily driven, and a LOT.
