I can give more if you would like.

This source talks about how it has not been tested, and also gives examples of un-tested vaccines that have been proven to contain, AIDS, and other harmful problems.

Now, in my own personal belief, if you DO NOT want to be vaccinated, you shouldn't have to. Reguardless of what can be prevented, it is your body, and the easiest way to prevent getting HPV is not sleeping around.

What does everyone feel about this issue? Has anyone else heard about it?

They're trying to do that in Colorado too, and the company that makes the vaccine is lobbying the hell out of the politicians over it, very strongly trying to push this on everyone. Although I don't agree with the position that having this shot would encourage kids to screw around, I don't think it makes any sense to require this either. It needs to be a personal choice, just like the personal choice that causes you to get the disease in the first place.

It's the wrong thing to do. Government, stay the FUCK out of my personal life.

:werd: The government could make a better case for forcing people to get flu shots, but even that would be bullshit. Speaking of which, flu shots might as well be a placebo, because plenty of people who get the shot still get the flu, while I never get the shot and haven't had the flu in at least 10 years.

I could see it if it could prevent the spread of some highly contagious, deadly disease or something. By contagious, I mean air borne.

I've never in my life, to my knowledge, had the flu. I could be wrong though.

I've also never had to flu and never once gotten the shot. I know many people that have gotten the shot, and still get the flu. Like John said, stay the FUCK away from my life.

You guys don't have a problem with them offering, or even suggesting it though right?

I recently read an article about how doctors are having a big problem with this vacine because people really want it, and the doctors tend to like it, but since insurance won't pay for it, no one gets it and it's too expensive to keep on shelves at clinics.

I will not have my government injecting anything into my veins. I can't verify that what goes in there is actually what they tell me it is. I don't think our society is to the point that I need to be worried about such a thing, but I also have no intention of paving the way.

My problem lives in the word 'mandatory' for something which is absolutely NOT mandatory. We know where HPV comes from.

Never ever.

I think it's scary that people try to push this shit.

sorry, but I wouldn't want to be forced to get this shot and I would not want someone telling me what shots my child is getting. forget that.

except if you want your child to goto school you are being told what shots they're getting. mumps/measles/rubella is mandatory and i think a few others are as well

i didnt read the articles, basically because i'm too lazy and have a deathly fear of needles.... if shots become mandatory look for loud_scott to become loud_scott_who_lives_like_bigfoot_in_the_wildernes s

also... the reason the flu shot sux is because injecting with a vaccine is GIVING you the disease. half the people that get the shot have a shitty immune system to begin with and the shot fucks them up, then they only need to be looked at cross eyed to get the thing they got the shot to prevent in the first place...

:werd: It's supposedly a dead version of the flu, so it doesn't replicate and such, but enough people seem to feel like shit as a result of the shot.

Neither of us get a flu shot, but we stay pretty healthy so I'm not too concerned. My arm always hurts for like three days after getting it also, so I hate that. I get really sick 1-2 times a year, so that's pretty infrequent.
