any one up for a lil cruise this friday night? its suppose to be around 50ish and NO snow, i already checked the weather. so if your up for it we should meet up at sonics on 96th and Federal around 8:00ish and then go for a nice cruise, so whos up for it?

Besides, I was lazy and didn't go out to start it since Dec 19th when I drove it last. Now the battery is too low to even click the starter.

Even shittier... Jeep = passenger side battery, Honda = driver side battery. My cables are a foot or two short. :D So I'm waiting for my new portable jumper/inverter to arrive, if Costco ever ships the fucking thing. They already shipped my 2GB microSD and my Xbox 260 HD-DVD player... bastids.

Honestly, if you plan on ever attending any meets without getting the shit kicked out of you, you might reconsider you method of conversing with the members of the forum. It's easy to misunderstand all the personal insults you see coming to this site as "the way it is" but what you may or may not realize is that most of the people on here doing that all know each other. No one really knows you, so don't expect to play in the same field until you know some of the people on this site, and they know you. Until then, it's usually best to be respectful and learn who everyone is. As an analogy, think about walking into a party full of people that know each other, but you don't know anyone except the one or two people that came with you. Would you walk into that situation and act like you have on this site? Probably not.

Now if you plan on being a douchebag e-thug that does nothing but trash talk, I guess that's another valid option. But you might also avoid any meets, because many of the people here will not hesitate to put their foot up your ass in person.

Again, just trying to offer some advice. Take it as you will.

I wasn't planning on going to the movie part, and I'm not sure if I can make it to this at all now... I was planning to finish the Porsche's timing belt job tonight and wrap up the little things tomorrow, but I ended up messing with my sister's car tonight instead, so I'm down a day. It kind of sucks when I have less than 2 hours to work on cars each night after I get home from work. I'm also depending on my new ignition switch to arrive by Friday. Naturally, the Integra is blocked in, because this started as just a simple job in my driveway, until I decided to replace the timing belt and a bunch of other crap, which required me to order stuff and wait for it to get here. And being that two of my cars are unavailable, the Ford just had to start acting up... it seems like the camshaft timing is screwed up ever since that extreme cold we got last Thursday night / Friday morning. I figure either the timing belt jumped a tooth, or it's VCT (Ford's VTEC) mechanism is stuck. I already replaced the cam position sensor, which apparently died at the same time, but that only got rid of the CEL and solved half of the problem.

No steering wheel and my driveway being on an incline would make it "fun" to get the Porsche back into my driveway after I roll it into the street. I'd also be depending on my neighbors not having anything parked in their driveways, since I'd need to use that space to drive the Integra around the Porsche. It's more trouble than it's worth, and the Integra is on narrow all-season tires that are too tall (they rub when I compress the front suspension a little bit).
