cheap tire mounting

i need some help, is there a way to mount a tire with out taking it to a shop?? if not whaere can i get it done cheap

A single tire shouldn't cost more than $10 to get mounted and balanced onto a wheel. How much cheaper do you want it to be??

There's the redneck way to do it with a pry-bar, but you'll probably damage the rims in the process unless they're steelies, and they wont be balanced at all. Just take it to a shop... a mount and balance should not be more than $10-15 per tire. If you're near Boulder, The Tire Source is a great place. Watch out for Discount Tire though, as they have a habit of trying to rip people off.
