test n tune 8-7-02 [Archive] - High Altitude Imports

I went up to the test n tune yesterday to get some more practice and to see if the springs made any difference. I got there about 4 and ran at 4:30 so the car was still very warm which is a shame cause my first run I had a pretty good launch ,2.285, and a clean run so I was hoping for a new best but my trap speed was down about 2-3 mph. I ended up with a 14.929 @92.98 mph. my next run was almost identical 2.290 60', 14.995 @ 92.82 mph. had one more run (15.6, missed 2nd:o )
then it started raining and got really windy. i was stuck in line but max and sam got my spare tire and tools and stuff (thanks again guys). i was about to head home when it started to clear up so i turned around and waited it out. they got the track all ready to go again at 7:45.
4th run I got a good launch and the car pulled hard all the way down the track. I could see my trap speed was back to normal so i was pretty excited cause that felt like the best run Ive had in this car. so I go to get my timeslip and the guy said it didnt print so I was supposed to go to the tower to get it. well i went there and they couldnt find it, they said there must have been a problem with the clocks or something:mad: so I have no idea what my time was.....5th run i spun all of first but still managed a 15.1. I guess last night it just wasnt ment to be. hopefully I will have some better luck on sunday

What color is your GTI? I saw atleast one there that night, it was probably you :) That rain and wind was pretty nasty. We left and went to eat, then came back and I ot 3 more runs in. Sounds like those GTI's are running pretty quick

mine is silver. i there was a black one earlier in the day (max) but he left after the rain, and there was also a reddish color one that ran.
