I got new seats for the Teg as i just couldnt handle the carbon buckets anymore. My old ass just couldnt take getting in and out of them on a daily basis. Tobi hooked my up on these beutiful babies. They are Corebeau TRS in the micro suede material they have for a little extra $.
Fresh out of the box, but car was at body shop. Had to sit for almost a week

The bumper on 1/31 at 8:00 am. Had just got the car back the day before from the body shop. Then i noticed they scratched the hell out of the entire driver side of my car. I took it back to have them buff it all out, and touch it up if it needed it.
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/SuzukaS/100_0344.jpg
About 3 hours later they call me. I knew something was up because it for sure wasnt done that fast. I was informed that the car was left in gear, with the ebrake down, and they "accidentally" remote started the car, and it ran into two other parked cars. This is the worst side by far. Both fenders are messed up, the hood is cracked, the bumper support was through the new bumper, and the passenger headlight is toast. They are buying me an entire front end conversion, a Carbon-worx hood, and a new C-West bumper because i told them i would not accept the hood and bumper out of the front end conversion. I do however get them as spare parts, which ill just sell.

Tough luck you're having with that car already, man. Good luck with it.

Yeah, tell me about it. Im almost taking it as a sign and unloading it after it gets fixed. Ive never had such crap luck with anything.
Oh, it doesnt look like it would cost all that much by the pic, but a few things that will make it huge are
1. JDM front end conversion form hmotorsonline.com (thanks again Nate for the site reference) $2400.00 shipped
2. Carbonworxs hood from inlinefour.com $500.00 before shipping. They said we can pick whatever trucking CO we want to use. So i told the body shop to use a local place wich is usually $100-$150 for something like this, otherwise inlinefour uses who they want, and charge rate of $300-$350
3. C-West bumper $702 shipped from i forget were.
They still have to paint everything, and im going to make them re-allign (sp?) my car cause im sure the camber kit moved. So its going to cost them roughly over $4000 to fix it.

DAMN.... :( I'm sorry Jesse. That really sucks. Are you going to keep it or off load? Kinda a toss up at this point. Sounds like the body shop is a bunch of dumb asses if they are messing around with the remote start...

I wouldn't go that far. Sounds like the customer should've had a safety so it wouldn't start in gear. Also the customer should've disclosed the remote start information beforehand.
This same sort of thing happened at my dad's shop except a mechanic got smooshed between a truck door and the lift. His leg got crushed and IIRC he had some shit messed up internally. He spent a few weeks in the hospital. Lawsuits flew and the last I heard, the customer and the shop that installed the RS were being sued.
I'd say you were lucky! I would also either get a safety put on the RS or disconnect it. I can do either for you if you'd like. PM me if you're interested.

I agree ^^^ Hense the reason why no one will install remote starts on Manual tranny's. Only people that do it on the side and no how to do it safely ;). I still want you to do mine at somepoint.
I still think they shouldn't have been messing with.

Thanks Pete, i have no idea what they were doing, as i said before, ive had the care about 4 weeks, when i purchased it, i became aware of the remote start issue, i was going to havee Toyz51 redo the entire setup, but he hasnt had time, and when i took my car there, the last thing on my mind is to tell a place to not be jacking around with the remote starter. Mainly because you have to have the car disarmed, hold the button down for 5-10 seconds before it will start, it beeps to tell you it did, and they had it it gear with the ebrake down. i dont feel bad at all for not saying anything, its not my fault.
so no one likes the seats? LOL

No problem man! Glad i could help you get the car going again!
Keeping the OEM bumper on the conversion? I hope so, it'll look so much cleaner. Not as much of the radiator support and such will be exposed.
Also, im assuming Hmotors actually HAD the whole HID Front end conversion in stock?

I love them, remind me of my suede S2000 seats i had. I recomend them for you highly. As to the alarm, ill wait until Toyz has time, as the whole car needs a good re-wiring job, and i really only trust him and Tobi to work on my car.
Im actually getting the OEM bumper, and the C-West, so ill see, im kinda torn between the two at the moment. Hmotors had the entire HID front, they even had two of them when no one else even had one or anything HID.

i like the seats... shitty situation about the remote start. I would have brandon fix that for you. Its a few times a year we hear about the guy with manual remote start that puts his car into another car or a garage.

If they tried saying something, I'd be getting a lawyer anyway. Its not my fault by any means. They even told me the guy who did it is stupid, and their insurance co didnt say anything about the whole situation. But i guess though you are right, it could be considerably worse. Going to court over something like this would suck, and id be without a car for way longer. Im not mad at them really, and i do appreciate them being very willing to fix what they messed up.

Update as of yesterday is that the parts and amounts i gave them are more than their insurance company is willing to pay to fix the Integra. So now they are looking for parts cheaper than what i found which isnt really going to happen, and i dont want non-OEM parts (fenders, headlights) which they are looking for. So i may have them just cut me a check and sell it. If anyone is interested in the car with the current state it is in, feel free to PM me and let me know as this will help me decide what direction to go with them. The car would most likley not come with the TE-37's, or the Corbeau's unless someone is willing to give me the $ they are worth to leave them. I would however probably leave the Tein's and whatever else is on the car.

No kidding, i dont think it should be my fault that they messed up a front end that is worth so much, and its just easier to total out the car. i guess we'll see what happens though.
As to the rims, IF i sell them, id have to research a little bit as the TE-37 Cup's are rare from what ive heard. As a guess, id say $1300 or $1400. But i really plan on just keeping the seats and rims for something else i get in the future.
