~Edit~ I appreciate the responses, but we have a vehicle lined up. Weston, your damper still doing well? We're playing around with the idea of other elastimers for race applications...hit me up when you get a minute. DanJ@IngallsEng.com ~/Edit~
Thanks guys,

They are busy doing prototype work for new and louder blowoff valves.

Sorry for your delays. It must be hard to get those Neon owners in for a functional product.

Ah, the SRT4 guys have proven that Neons go really fast, in a straight line. I kid...

There's not enough demand for something like that to justify the R&D.

Actually I had my car down at Saridea a few times while they used my car to mock up and create the bracket for your engine dampner. They said once the design was submitted back to you, you would offer me and the other girl a sample to test for you.

I got an email last week stating that you guys had kinda pulled out and had only given the one out. I have been waiting for months to hear about the final product only to see that all the effort I made to let them get measurments and such had gone down the drain.

If you are still looking for an actual test, feel free to contact me.

^^^ Hmmm, I may be out of the loop, I was only aware of (the other girl's) SRT4 that was used at Saridea. Shoot me a PM or better yet, an email at DanJ@IngallsEng.com. I'll try and figure out whats going on.
As for the R&D for other cars, as we already have applications developed for most of the Honda/Acura line, I doubt we'll be bringing in any more for development. If you had a Fit we'd be in business, but sadly the Civics and Integras are all figured out. As for hybrid fitments, the B-series 92-00 Civic swaps are already figured out and with the growing popularity of the K-series swaps thats may be the only engine type we develop hybrid damper kits for, sorry.

ingalls sucks

they were supposed to use my car to do a camber kit on and all i got was the runna round

the guy that had me lined up quit or got fired and then i called back and they just kept saying they were goona let me know somthing.. well no one called. pretty bad when you blow off a test car. not like it was that costly of a part. all i can say is if i got blown off this bad, when they wanted to use my car how bad would it be to be a paying customer.

Chad, shoot me an email listing when we asked to use your car and which car we wanted. Sadly, the job I now have has been held by four indiviuals in the last 3 years. Things can fall through the cracks when that happens. Sadly you may have been subject to one of those 'cracks'.
The reason I asked for which application is because you list a 93 Civic CX as your car. Ingalls has had camber kits for the EG for going on 15 years, so unless it was a replacement upper control arm you may not have been talking to us. The other problem could be that when a new person was hired they knew someone who owned the same car and brought in that person, never knowing that you had already been lined up.

it was for ajdustable front upper control arms and then they said that i could buy rears while it was there so i told them i would and then have it all aligned and yes the car is a eg hb and i called 2 diff times and got, yea i will find out whats going on and call you back. then no call back for me so i said this is bad business and moved on.

Chad, I am sorry that you were 'neglected' in that situation. I wish there was something I could do, but it's been so long since we've done development on that chassis. I hope an apology will suffice for the time being.

Chad, to be honest, there wasn't really anything to respond to...but, I can shoot you a PM if it helps. I understand your frustrations with what has happened in the past, but there is really nothing I can do about the situation beside apologize. I guarentee you that Ingalls in not some uber mega giant corperation just s***ing on the little guy. We're a locally owned and operated firm and I'm the only performance customer service rep; on top of my other job requirements.
Again, I understand your not wanting to do business with us in the future. I don't like the idea, but I understand. I hope that your automotive pursuits lead to great things in Wyoming and that the bump you hit with us is nothing worth noting in the grand scheme. Good luck.

all i am saying is you told me to pm you to talk and i did, then you did not respond. and then you post on the thread that you fell you did not need to reply to my pm. you figure it out. like i said i accept your apoligy.

Chad, I sense a lot of hostility...you told me you knew people in the industry, that screwing people over was something you couldn't tolerate, etc. Nothing was like, well if Ingalls did X I would feel better about this, or hook me up on parts at cost and we'll call it even. Nothing like that, therefore nothing to really respond with.
Just an FYI I know plenty of people in the industry too, but I only name drop when it comes time to get VIP at SEMA parties. Knowing people only gets you that far (free drinks in Vegas, really difficult. /sarcasm)...it's you who has to do something in the industry to count.
When I asked you to PM me it was before you responded to all the questions I had. You anwsered those in thread, then PM'd me about your involvement in the scene. I was trying to keep any kind of Drama off of the thread so that SRT4 stuff could get figured out. Well, I've already placed a damper on an SRT4, the user is submitting me some feedback as I type. I was trying to calm the situation down and yet you seem to keep bringing it up. I am truely sorry that previous employees of Ingalls (read: are no longer with the company for various reasons *hint*) left you with a bad taste in your mouth. I can't do anything about what happened twelve months before I interviewed here. I have no record of it and can't offer you free stuff. So, I guess it comes down to how much and how often you feel like slandering this company. I'd think at 30 years of age that you could put petty things like grudges away. At 24 I've already decided they are worthless and lead to nothing but more grudges.
Like I've said good luck with your future endevours.
