Any good local forums for finding older 4runners for sale? I'm looking for something that has some offroad stuff already done to it.

I've looked on Craigslist and haven't really found to much. I also looked on ttora even though there not local but didn't really see much that I would be willing to go get. Also tried colorado4x4.org, but didn't find anything there.

This one's in CO. It's been for sale since November so he might move a bit on his asking price of $9500. I don't think it's worth that much, however, a dual case setup usually runs about $2k. I wish I had that.

I like that if I could somehow get a top to fit on it. Probably would need to have some custom soft top put on it.

That one is pretty cool. You could get a custom top, call up a marine store that does custom canvas covers for boats if you want to get an idea. I've seen custom covers before.

Or just use a tarp and some bungees when it rains. A lot of trailered jHeeps run around with no tops and doors permanately.
