http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e26/figpuck/th_trans1.jpgIs the input shaft bearing on the top left there? Mine was making noise and everyone pointed me in that direction. It's the only bearing that makes noise whne I spin it by hand. The others are very smooth. While its apart and all any other suggestions of things to change? I don't wanna spend more then this is worth but it doesnt grind at all and has a phantom grip so yea...
thanks for looking

The input shaft bearing is exactly where the name of it says it would be; at the input shaft; the shaft that goes into the clutch/flywheel. That bearing is underneath I believe the mainshaft (the 3/4/5 gearset.. countershaft has the huge nut on the top of it - the 1/2 gearset). You need a bearing puller to pull the input shaft bearing. But, if it's the bearing you're talking about, that's a totally different one. Replace it while the tranny is apart if it's making noise. The bearing on the other side with the huge nut on it, you need to get a 32mm socket to remove that nut and replace that bearing. When I did my old LS tranny, I replaced both the input shaft bearing and the bearing that sits in the casing of the mainshaft that you're talking about, on the opposite end of the input shaft.

Hope this helps.

Yes, the bearing on the top left is one of the input shaft bearings, but the much more common point of failure is the one that's under that gear stack. It's pressed into the tranny case. If you remove the gear selectors and the reverse gear stuff, you can lift the main and counter shafts out together, then you can get at the input shaft bearing. It's usually pretty obvious if it's trashed.

^ Ah, word. I didn't know it was also considered an input shaft bearing.

Another thing, if you go to remove the bottom ISB, you may have to slightly tap out the gearset at the input shaft, as it can get caked in there. I had to with my LS tranny. Like Weston said, though.. that was is easy to tell if it's gone bad. Just check the actual input shaft for play.

here you go man, this is where i get my oem parts (http://www.barancoacuraparts.com/baranco/jsp/catlistallcomp.jsp?inputstate=3&catcgry1=INTEGRA&catcgry2=1990&catcgry3=4DR+LS&catcgry4=KA5MT&catcgry5=&search=All&ListAll=All), should be under the MT mainshaft or the Countershaft section, so hopefully you should be able to find it there.
