s2k fuel cut???

So I was gunna buy a 2001 s2000, and when I was test driving it it cut out, felt like a fuel cut, at a little over 7000 rpm. Do s2k's come from the factory with a fuel cut. Ive driven other factory s2000's and never felt a fuel cut.

I'm sure they have a fuel cut but its above 8900 for the AP1's.

Was the car all warmed up?

yeah car wont go into vtec if the car isnt warmed up. i think the fuel cut on my ap1 is like 9.1 or 9.2k rpms

yes but it will go over 9k

an s2k will not go passed 7k without 2 bars of temperature reading on the gauge.

I would but its a lot easier trying to buy a car through a dealership than just getting a loan through a bank, and I would still need to sell my car or trade it in.
