So, I have a 97 Prelude H22a4. When I start the car the engine has a really loud clicking noise. Sometimes is hard for the car to idle. Sometimes when I don't push on the gas, the car wont start. Do you guys have any idea.

-All started when I was in the snow and I kept the car at a decent 5000-5500 rpm for about 15 seconds.

sounds to me like a spun rod bearing

Ya, it could be a rod bearing. I know it's inside the engine somewhere.

I can start the car and rev it up. The higher i rev the faster the clinking noise.

How hard is it to repair a rod bearing? My experience is decent, the furthest i've done is change a head gasket.

a little more difficult then that... you have to pull the motor and pull apart the inside. when u reassemble you must make sure everything is torqued correctly
