Has anyone ever gotten a refund for a semester?
I started to sign up for online courses last semester. It ended up being way more than i expected/could afford at the time, so a week before classes started I game them a call and asked what I needed to do to cancel out. They told me if I hadn't paid by the time classes started they would drop me. Cool, ignored it, never logged on, never made a payment so I assumed I was auto-dropped. Their little handbook thingie also said enrollment isn't ofically complete until I pay, so I figured all was well.
Last week I got a letter saying I owe them full tuition for last semester. WTF?
When I called them back, they said I needed to talk to an advisor, and keep bouncing me around from extension to extension. I left 7 or 8 voicemails and have not gotten a call back, and have yet to get through to a person besides the lady that answers the phones at the front desk of the cashier's department.
Does anyone know what I should do in this situation? Or has anyone dealt with FRCC's cashier's department and know how I should go about this?
