Friend's Saturn's transmission just took a dump. Sounds like (from what I could tell over the phone) the cross-pin in the diff came out. If I can score a used trans, what would you charge to install our trans with a new clutch (your parts)/resurfaced flywheel?

sorry for constantly bringing you non-hondas

What does it being a non honda have to do with anything? Half the people here don't drive a honda

Non-honda FTW! :)

Sorry for adding crap to one of your TC threads, Tobi. Seems that's all I do these days is complain into other peoples' threads.

The trans in our Saturn did the same thing when my brother owned it. Crappy engineering.

Without a lift it would be a crappy swap. But it comes out the bottom of the car really easy. Got it all tuned today, the tranny seems to be slipping on the top end though. Or maybe it just needs a tighter converter. Anyhoo, 201 whp and 286 torque.

not bad with the big ass chain in the trans sucking all the power out.

I think the converter is too loose as well, in third it drops another 40 horses. Only when the converter is loaded up does it make good power. On my dyno it made better power than the dynojet. Her next option is to upgrade to a Getrag 6 speed dog box. Then all that power will come right back. 115mph is all this thing will do with its gearing and power. *shitsweak*

doesn't that trans have a lockup converter? That thing is screaming for some boost! Order him up a paxton and a getrag 6er and call it done!
