On my 00 GSR, there was a button under the dash by you right leg that you had to push and hold with the ignition on until the maint req'd light went out. Not sure if you have something like that.

Each Honda is a little different. I'd look for that button that Hung is talking about. Its square and flush with the plastic under the dash so it's kinda hard to see. On my mom's accord, you have to hold the reset button and all that jazz.

I think it should be the only button down there, well on Integras i'm pretty sure it is the only button down there an d it faces straight down, don't know about the civics but maybe?

push and hold the reset button on the cluster, then turn the key on, but dont start the car. continue holding for about 5 seconds and it should be reset.

It's actually ten seconds. You'll see the light start to flash after 5 seconds, then when it stops flashing it is reset.

I think others have said it and as soon as I got back in town tonite I tried it and booom. it worked. follow what this says and it will be resolved.
