Anyone use a Exedy clutch on there Honda? Likes, dislikes? I'm really considering this clutch over an ACT. The price is just too hard to beat, I found the full face organic for sale with pp, disc, release bearing, throwout bearing and alignment tool for only $269.50 shipped. Comments?

I love my Exedy Clutch. Had it on my d16z6 and it griped nice and clucth pedal was not too far from stock, just right. I now have one on my b16 and it's still griping hard after all the beating it has taken. I defintaly recommend the clutch!

I think I'm finally going to replace my stock clutch. I was considering either exedy or act. Since people have been saying good things about the exedy I am leaning toward it now.

How hard is it to install on a civic? Should I go to a shop and get it done? What is a reasonable price for some to put a clutch in my car?

The EXEDY clutch is very nice....

They are produced by Daikin, the manufacture of stock Honda clutches.

The pressure plates are dual diaphram, and have a decent power capacity.

However, if you do ANY frequent racing, or launches, I would reccomend getting a better disc...The organic facing will wear like a mofo, and eventually shred.

I would look into getting a Kelar faced disc as it will NEVER wear out. Plus it will allow you to modulate the clutch on launches to keep traction, without killing the flywheel, pressure plate or the disc.

Action clutch makes a GREAT kevlar disc for pretty cheep if you want to upgrade. Just let me know, and I will tell you where you can find it.
