I have a obd2 motor, I was asking a buddy, who I don't know very well but, I was asking him what to do, if he knows anyway around haveing to switch wireing harness. I am trying to do everything 100% right.

He told me to buy this, and everything should be fine. LMK if this will work..

I noticed that one says "obda" So maybe one of these ones will work..

I have had a half and half response, I heard there is two plugs that wont plug in. I am trying to get this motor in and ideling and running perfect with no check engine light.

Thing is, I heard that this Obd2 to obd1 Conversion Harness will work.. If it will work to just drop it in, and everything will work perfect then thats cool to. But I don't want any check engine lights. And I want everthing to idle right and so on. So I am trying to ask around as much as I can.

if its going into an eg that harness don't matter its only the engine harness you should be worried about.

you can actually use your stock eg civic harness, or should be able to, then you need to get a obd1 distributor and im not sure exactly what else. then you use a obd1 p72 ecu. I have a 1998 gsr engine in my 93 integra and it was a direct swap, i just used my stock integra harness and a vtec dizzy. btw, you dont use the crank position sensor on obd1 if you didnt know already
