View Full Version : Quote on Engine swap.
I have a D16z6 that needs to be pulled, as well as the transmission. I'm looking to replace the motor with another D16z6, and new transmission. Do you guys require that I purchase a motor through you guys? or can I bring in my own? I'm also looking for a price quote, on engine, 5spd transmission, and the swap labor costs.
Thanks
-Kyle.

AND NO M@ THIS IS NOT CIVIC-8442- So leave me alone.
I assume he wants a good job done plus a non stolen engine.

I've only read a few of his posts, but it would be a cold day in hell before I would let CIVIC-8442 in the same zip code as my car much less work on it. just my .02 worth

You can buy a motor/tranny from us or bring your own. Right now I have a JDM D16z6, It has less than 40k miles on it and comes with a 6 month replacement warranty. And a US tranny with 6 month replacement warranty and 90k miles on it. For both of those installed your looking at roughly $3100 plus tax and fluids. If you bring your motor in and we swap it youre looking at about $800 plus any extra parts or fluids needed.
ok great! thanks for the info Tobi. I applied for a loan, through your website. Depending on how much I get approved for, or if I do get approved - I'd like to talk buisness. thanks again.

yes, I am agreeing with you on that. Tobi is the only one that touches our cars now. :) I only let someone I trust work on our cars.
So, I never got an email back from the loan company you guys are using. I'll try calling tommrow morning, but I'm sure I don't have enough credit yet. Would you guys be able to put me on a private payment plan?
