How are you making it wiggle? Do you understand how it is loaded once installed on your car?

Ugh, you stupid fuck, get off of here. This shouldn't even be in "off topic", you're talking about a car part.

I always try to stick with name brands man, so for a strut bar...DC sports, Mugen, Spoon, etc. These types of companies although expensive, you are going to get a quality product that may last you more than a year. Plus, they have some kind of rep they have to maintain, otherwise people won't pay the hefty price..."you get what you pay for" and "do it right the first time".

I own a 3point strut from password JDM and I love the damn bar the best I have ever owned. They are light which some people associate with cheap but the bar is tough as shit I love it.

I like password parts because they look nice. But they are not of the best quality and strength. Doogie is right, If you want high quality you pay a higher price from a name brand. We have JIC Magic strut bars in stock, they are some of the nicest and strongest JDM parts I have ever had. The Password ones are really only about looks and name.

Also this has been moved to the correct forum.

Ricer! :D

For strut bars, I wouldn't pay more than $30. It's a simple piece of metal that connects two points, and it doesn't matter if they flex, because that's not how they are loaded when installed on the car. Of course, most people just want the brand name and bling anyway. I have no-name eBay bars on the Integra, and they work quite well.

The ones we have on the shelf can be preloaded after the install.

Well, it's no ricer Prelude, but I have a little more than 120 hp. ;) I think you need to have your doors blown off... you should come to the PMI event NASA is having in March. You'll have to work your way up through the ricer ranks before you can challenge me, but you can rice it up for Chris_V in the mean time. I can hear your excuses now... "he only won because he d0rift0'ed", "my 7 BOV's weren't working right", "my turbo sucked up part of my A/C system", "I was on low boost", etc. :D

Um, 13 bov's thank you very much. Hey, there is only one person that can suck an AC system into their turbo....and we know who that is. I may go do a couple just for the experiance, but I'll be at Bandi most of the season if you want to get your doors blown off as well.

Does this conversation need to be moved to the HAI vs. Ricer forum?

why is that on every forum i post on people volunteer me to race people and i only find out about it later?

oh yeah and: cheap ebay strut bars ftw
thats what im using and they work great, i can preload them after they are installed as well, all for 20 bucks. maybe its just me but strut bars arent the most scientific piece of equipment on my car, if im going to pay 100+ for one it better shoot lasers into my opponents eyes or something.
