Hey every one, Im sure this has been asked before but i cant get any diffinative answers.....Ok so im putting a 97 b18b into my 93 Civic ex. I got the complete swap from local yards an pieced it all together. I have a p28 in my car now. i hear i need a pr4 ecu to make this work? I also hear i can use my p28 to run this if its chipped? I have afc, unlimited dyno time ect. What are your ideas on this? Just get a pr4? Anyone using there p28 to run this setupwith out a chip ? If i need to get the p28 chipped where do i find one of these chips? I have the complete swap, but i know im putting an obd2 engine in an obd1 car, which engine harness sould i use i have the obd2 that came on the engine and obviously the one thats in the car now. And finally what do you do with the throttle cable? Custome bracket or a 94 ls throttle cable? Thanks for all the help to a new honda guru. And Seriously look for some big Stock Block w-Boosty numbers for this baby this spring. Im going do do some software platform testing for yall to benifit from....

Use the pr4, the p28 is a sohc vtec that you wont need, sell it unless you plan on vtec later. Use the LSthrottle cable too..

ya, thats what i would do, and you can use your civic harness, it should work, cause the one that came on the engine is obd2 and not all of the plugs will plug in. you would need a obd1 distributor also unles you want to change the obd2 one to fi your car.

If the p75 is not pluggin in (straight in) then that must mean its a OBD2 ECU man and your SOL! you need too find a ecu thats OBD1
