I have heard of some big waves. The biggest ever recorded was when the side of a mountain fell off into a bay. I think it was about 3-4 times taller than the empire state building. I saw it on discovery channel.

the wave was 1,720ft high and the empire state building is 1,250 ft high. The wave went in about 3,500 feet inland.

STFU, my house is completely safe from any kind of tidal wave, I was down at the beach in my jeep when it was suppose to hit, I didn't even notice a change in the water level the whole time I was there.
