Ok, so yesterday I put some H22 (310cc) in my car. The car runs like ass on the low end, but pulls hard as hell under boost now. Looks like it is time for me to get a VAFC to tune this bastard. I just drove from Ft. Collins to Co Springs this morning and am getting about 13-14 MPG!! I usually get 25 MPG... so if that tells you anything. I really want to get this thing tuned and running fast! Anyone have a used VAFC they want to give me a deal on? I think I found one for $200, so I will have to see how that goes.

I was going to sell mine if I ever got Zips EBL Evo, but I guess that project is delayed or fell on face.

As soon as I get a VAFC for it. Should hopefully be this weekend.

Is it running any better after the VAFC was tinkered with a bit? I thought you said it had improved earlier today at the shop?

I thought H22's were 290cc's?

aren't h22a injectors like high impedance and 1st gen b16a injectors low imedance, that might be your problem because i know your honda ecu can recalibrate itself pretty daym good up to 310's

Well the impedence for the OBD1 H22 injectors that I got is low (~2 ohm) and the stock B16 injectors are the same. It runs MUCH better now with the VAFC. Need to put it on the dyno now and tune away.

You sure about the ohm rating on the injectors? I'm pretty sure that when you run the OBD injectors on a non-OBD set-up, it runs really rich. A good friend w/ a CR-X w/ Individual throttle bodies, 12.5:1 CR and all the other goodies to go with it did it on accident. Sure, it ran, but super-rich.
H22A Injectors are 290cc.
What does the non-VTEC fuel map look like on your V-AFC now?
Here is the information that you guys need. H22 had two different sizes, H23 only one.
1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc
