These are a couple weeks ago, recently changed is
1) changed out the rear convo pro's with weld alumastars (SFI approved to 200+ mph)
(the rears were 31.5X14.5X15, the new tires are 32X16.5X15)
2) changed to an MSD crank trigger and a 7AL-3 box
3) flowing the fuel system now
4) new roller cam around .765 lift (kind of secret)
5) Funny car cage started
with the airflow research heads I've got on the way and the new custom headers I'm ordering after I get back from Iraq it should be a competitive quick 16 car (8.teens with 1:1 blower, 7.8's overdriven 30%)

it's an 8-71. The 14-71 is WAY longer than mine, but currently on 1:1 it's 10 psi. Right now the weak link in the engine is the crank, so after I put a callies or lunati 4340 crank in it, I'll overdrive the blower. When I do that I'm going to stroke it to at least 496 as well.

no preseason test and tunes. I'm leaving for iraq again in 3 weeks, although I may get some leave in september, and I'll race it then if I do... and no, I never drive it on the streets. Although it's got lights and wipers and plates and whatnot, it's not really "street drivable". It runs out of fuel in about 1 minute and it's just way too fast to jack around city streets with.

lol. The guy I have tuning the fuel system thinks I'm going to be too fast for the current 12 point cage, so the funny car cage is in the works now. Should be legal to 7.49 and slower once it's done, and it may be close to that in 2008/2009. And no, not in the 1/8...
