My 15yo daughter went out last night to Fat City with some friends who drove. I told her to be home at midnight. I called her at 12am then again at 1am she didn't answer. I then after the second call texted her she responded with a text saying she was driving home now. She Never showed up and it is already 11am the next day. I am freaking out I called Fat City to ask if anything happened, Her phone is dead. What the hell can I do??

I have tried all that I tried to get ahold of all her friends on Myspace I have emailed the news channels with her picture asking to post it on the news.
I have tried calling people over and over again with no luck except I find out a little bit more information time after time. My wives sister even contacted a psyhcic and they said she is no longer with the people she went out with. That she was on her way home and was misdirected and bumped into a 20ish old friend of hers. She also said that the guy is wanting to take advantage of her. This is more crap then I can even imagine to happen to someone. I pray and I am not religious that she will come home tonight okay.

Sorry to hear about this man. Have you verified for sure who she went to Fat City with? And if so, ONE of them have to know something about her whereabouts or who she may have ran into and who she left with. Her friends that know something are probably scared to get her into more trouble etc. so I hope you narrowed down who she was there with. Talking directly to those friends and their parents is where I would focus.

Not that I know what parenting is like, but going based upon what Dave said I'd be more mad at her for not keeping contact with you guys to at least let you know what's going on vs. staying out for a day or two.

honestly the most effective method could be just to sit down and talk to her. tell her you that you love her, but are dissapointed in her (the guilt trip is the worst.). let her know that you arent mad that she left for a few days, you are upset because she kept you in the dark about it, and didnt bother letting you know what was happening. make sure you drill the point in how worried you were, so she knows how much it hurt not knowing what was happening to her.

honestly the most effective method could be just to sit down and talk to her. tell her you that you love her, but are dissapointed in her (the guilt trip is the worst.). let her know that you arent mad that she left for a few days, you are upset because she kept you in the dark about it, and didnt bother letting you know what was happening. make sure you drill the point in how worried you were, so she knows how much it hurt not knowing what was happening to her.

But from a teenagers view, they just don't comprehend that. and that is the frustrating part. I use to be like that too, and now that I'm older, I see the problems and stress i put my parents through.

yeah, i guess it really depends on the teenager. it worked on me, but looking back on it, my parents laid it on pretty thick. i guess it depends on her maturity level.
