I had the S sold to a guy in CA a few weeks ago. We traded cars plus he gave me a considerable amount of cash. Yes, its a downgrade, but at least a good one, and my payment is way cheaper now which is what i was shooting for since we are planning on having a kid. We decided to meet up on Friday in NV. Lucky me, i hit all the bad weather. I didnt have to much trouble in it with the S, just had to go slow. It only got bad when i got the Teg, and i hit a damn blown out semi tire in the middle of the road, so now i have to make an insurance claim already, but its ok, because the front bumper needed to be re-sprayed anyway, so now i just get a brand new one. The nice pics are from the previous owner, the damaged one is from today.
Its done fairly nice so far, just needs to have a few things fixed and something done to the motor as it is a fairly stock LS. Mods consist of what you see mainly, the JDM HID front, full C-West body kit, Ganador powered mirrors, TE-37 Cup series 16's, carbon hood and trunk. Interior has carbon buckets (which will be for sale on here shortly) and other JDM ITR interior parts. Anyone who has black interior parts for sale, (seatbelts included) hit me up as a lot of them need replaced.

Not bad, you better tie your arm to the tire so no one takes it.

Thanks. were i live, no cars ever get stolen. I could leave the keys in it here, and it would still be in my driveway in the morning. But it does have a decent alarm, and a quick release steering wheel for when i do go to CO were it would get stolen in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the props. Not to big of a deal on the tire, it'll work out for the best in the end. The only one of the engine bay is below, i dont like the valve cover, its got to go. it does have a three point strut tower bar from passwordjdm that looks good, and the V2 intake on it sound decent for now. I forgot i have this as well, a link to a sort of slide show he sent to me at first.

nice teg, I like those wheels.
Ive never even seen a set of these type of TE's before. I hadnt heard of Cup Series, but they actually say it on the rim as well. They are very different from the TE's i had on my EG.
Thanks for the link Nate, ill be watching those belts.
that suck about the tire, but the car looks FUCKING sick.

Thanks for the props. Really not a big deal on the front, just going to get a brand new one cheap since my insurance will pay for it, then i have a spare front for the winter. As to switching back to an OEM front, i really have no desire to do that since i have a full kit, and it doesnt look overkill. That, and its C-West. I did contemplate going to an INGS front bumper since i have to get a new bumper, but the front alone is over $900. I dont really feel like spending that much more when i get the insurance check since the C-West front is $525.

I love the rims as well. I am probably going to get a beter hood soon, as it is a no-name one and is just ok to me. The trunk is VIS, and fits great so ill keep it. My plan as of right now for the motor is to do an LS/Vtec setup with a GSR head, and get Toyzbus JRSC on it.

Before i picked up the car, i thought about selling the TE's for Regamasters since ive already had TE's, but once i saw them on there, i had to keep them. The wires were Nology, but the previous owner took them off and gave me stock ones. I dont really care, ill just leave them until i start work on the motor.

stay with the c-west, everyone has oem and the c-west front is sooo fucking sexy...
cybergreencivic
01-18-2007, 12:16 PM
Thanks, yeah i am for sure staying with the C-West. That is part of my reasoning, just to be different. I just found out yesterday i will for sure be getting a BRAND NEW C-West front after the insurance co and body shop looked at it together. Should be here next wednesday they said. They also found a crack in the driver's side side-skirt and some hairline cracks in the paint in the passenger fender they are going to fix. Not to bad for the $250 deductible. The front alone shipped is $715.

Once again, were i live i could seriously leave the keys in it and it would still be there in the morning. nothing does feel like and S2k, and thats another reason i got rid of it, i missed FWD. As to a fair trade, it wasnt a strait trade. i got $12,000 and this car for my S2000. So i think i made out ok.

It would, but since this was on there, and im getting a brand new one from the insurance co im going to at least leave it on there for now. Maybe it will grow on you a little when you see it in person next sunday.

My car is still in the body shop getting painted so i havent got the Corbeau's in yet. Apparently the new C-West bumper needed some minor repair before it could get painted so i should have it back by monday they said. But ill give a pic of the one seat i have out of packaging for other's to see what they are. Corbeau TRS in Micro-Suede. Thanks to Tobi for these babies. Ill have pics for sure early next week of them in the car.

OOoh pretty. Im debating on those or the GTS-II in micro-suede for the Hellement.
cybergreencivic
01-27-2007, 11:55 AM
I dont like the design as much on the GTS-II, but for the Element they might look a little more at home as compared to a Civic or Integra. Either one you go with, the suede is deffinetly the right choice. Im so very glad i went with it. Every so often, i have to go up to the seat i have out and just rub it for a little bit.

01-27-2007, 11:59 AM
lol. All I have to do now is send Corbeau my seats for a month so they can develop the custom brackets for the E. Its the only new model they dont have. THat and the ridgeline.
cybergreencivic
01-27-2007, 12:04 PM
No one makes brackets for the Element yet? Or you just want Corbeau's. Just send them in, a month will be over before you know it. It is surprising they dont have them yet for it. The Ridgeline i can understand. I bet they already have them for the mighty Fit.
HONDA GHANDI
01-27-2007, 01:02 PM
There probably isnt too much demand for them in the E. Maybe I will be the first. I am putting the truck under the knife next week for the turbo kit so the seats might have to go out then...

Thanks, i wish mine would work like yours, but i think its because of the space allowed for the avatar. I assume you made yours a little bigger so the dancing would work.
Your boosting that beast, that's awsome!!! Yeah, send them out then, you NEED to get some nice seats in there since it'll be wicked fast yo!
I wish they'd make the Element more like the FJ Cruiser so I could wheel it.
