So I just found this site and so far it seems pretty chill. I usually post on www.sromagazine.com/boards but most of those members are from Cali so it's cool to be able to relate to people a little more.

Anyways, I'm a girl, I go to CU Boulder, and I drive a Red Civic...soon to be hybrid in about 3 days. It's a very sexy car (and not in a rice kinda' way). So now you know what's up.

No pics yet. When I bought it, there was intake, exhaust and altezza's on it.;RoCkOn; Now it's a totally respectable civic that makes heads turn.

I put on 16" wheels, lowered it with the Eibach Pro Kit and SPC Performance front camber kit (the rear camber was ok), put on a 3 pc. mid wing (looks like the SI spoiler but a little lower and it has 3 pieces to it), got a new Panasonic CD player, put in indiglo gauges and matching 3 1/2 in. Tach w/ Shift light, and replaced the tailights with ones that look exactly like the 99-00 civic tails...except the white is on top and the red is on bottom. Maybe you'd call the gauges and spoiler rice, but they weren't overdone and it just makes the car more MINE instead of the dumb girl's that I bought it from.

Yeah, she's from Louisville. The dumb whore told me it had never been in an accident, then my mechanic said the front axle had been cracked...from an accident. When I confronted her about it, she was all apologetic and said it must have happened before she owned the car. I guess she didn't realize that she used to chill with all my friends before I came into the picture, and they all told me how she crashed it. She sold the car because she figured it "isn't worth it to fix up cars because they'll just get ruined". Sorry if she's a friend of yours, but all I hear about her is that she's really shady, and MY experience with her wasn't very positive.

Are you from Louisville? What high school did you go to?

I went to Monarch(crappy ass school) and lived in lousiville for a few years. Where did you go?

I just graduated from Boulder High, although I only went there 2 years. Most of my friends go to Monarch and live in Louisville. Do you know Dana Dowdy, Travis Zinner, Bryan Hollis, or David Murphy? I've been chillin with them since sophomore year, maybe we've met at a party or something. What does your car look like?

yeah i used to live like a block from dana, and i know travis too, recongnize the other two names but not really sure. i had a green prelude, grey eg hatch now, probably never met you though, didn't hang out with them too much

Welcome to HAI, I know all those guys, havent talked to them for awhile, didnt Travis, Bryan, Jarod, and David move to Arizona??? I went to Monarch, I drove the black civic DX with no muffler (I have one now.) Maybe I'll see ya around, we should race soon I'll have my B16 in soon.

Are you Laurie's brother? Anyways, they're all moving in about a week or so. David was never invited (I'm sure you know why) and he's planning on joining the Navy or something. But, yeah, you should make it out the next meet if there is going to be one soon.

Well, David is only the biggest asshole we've ever met in our lives. Travis especially doesn't like him enough to live with him, and Bryan probably wouldn't consider it either. Oh well. I'm just starting CU so I don't know how it is yet, but I'll let you know in a few weeks.:p How's Laurie doing? Did you guys ever sell that first house, or did you have to move back into it?

We sold both houses and moved to Thornton, and in a couple of months (oct.) I'm moving in with Sam Abu Gosh and possibly this other kid I play hockey with. Lori's doing good, she just got out of school recently. How's boulder treating you(I'm assuming your living in Boulder.)

Well I still live in Nederland with my parents (like I always did) but I'll be moving into the dorms in a week or so. It'll be so nice to live in Boulder because it always sucked driving all the way up to Ned at 3 in the morning after you've been partying all night. That and I'm always scared shitless I'm gonna hit a deer and total my car.:eek:

Where is nederand? I haven't heard of it, now the only thing you may have to worry about is other people in Boulder driving(from I've seen they arent exactly gifted when it comes to driving a car), although I did see about three accidents in westminster within 5 min. You should give me a ride in your car so I can see what a B16A in a DX is like.

Actually I've got a lil' secret to tell you. I put in a B18C1 ;) . But don't tell anyone else. When people ask me what I've done to her, I'm just going to say "intake and exhaust" and then let it go from there.:D And do you know where the Eldora Ski Resort is? That small town with the round'a'bout that you have to go through is Nederland. Ok, now I'm embarrassed.

I'm embarrassed because it's NEDERLAND. Everyone up here is crazy and all they ever do is smoke weed and eat shrooms. I don't have a problem with either of those ;) but it's like an everyday thing up here. And everyone is all about their Chevy trucks and stuff :eek: . Oh well, I'll be livin in Boulder by next week so I won't complain.

Well I dont think boulder will offer too much change...lots of weed, beer, and some other illegal substances. I dont think the people in Boulder are crazy but I cant say because I dont work there anymore. Look at the bright side, soon you'll be able to look at some crazy situation and say at least it's not Nederland. Plus you may not have to worry too much about people in boulder trying to steal your car.

yeah nobody will have a clue what your car is, especially up in nederland. the boulder hippies will be too high to steal it too, im glad i dont have to go to boulder anytime soon

Actually, I feel safer with my car up in Nederland. My best friend's turbocharged GSR was just stolen a few weeks ago. There was about $10,000 worth of aftermarket parts in that car (including some really good punk CD's) and he'll probably only get blue book value for it, which is only about $6,000. And my car is going to be parked on campus so I'm still pretty nervous about it. Anyways, are you two going to go to the meet/luncheon this weekend? BluByU is supposed to help put together something this weekend. Eric, if you want to meet up and then cruise out there together I'm down.
