My son is out!!! 6 pounds, 5 ounces. 19 inches, healthy boy. He has a strong growl, strong grip, and a charming face :)
Its been a hell of a night, we ended up going to the hospital at 7:30, but the nurses said it was a false alarm. Remember, its a blizzard outside, and we're about miles from a hospitol. So we drive through this, and back, nearly get stuck, and finally home. I tuck her into bed, and chill with my daughter. An hour later, she comes down and tells me we're having it NOW! Panic!!! By this time, my parents let us use the Outback, thank god! Haul ass down to the hospital again (driving in a blizzard, understeering and spinning all four with a stab of throttle with a screaming 40 week along pregnant women with contractions every 4 minutes, whiteknuckle at 25, woo). Get there, and, well; the rest as they say, is history.
We have no pics, I brought the camera the first time. The second time it was PANIC!!! and a mad rush to the hospital. Don't worry, I drove safely. So, no pics! Damn, it sucks, but I can tell my boy why :)
I type this, after the fact, sitting next to my lady in a hospitol bed, on my laptop. What a wonderful calm after the storm. But what a fun storm.
Pics when I get a chance!!!
