The wife and I will be going up on Saturday to eat some crab, then watch the UFC, then drop some cash playing cards at the Ameristar in Blackhawk if anyone else is interested?

They don't charge a penny to watch the fight, so that will save you from buying the PPV.

Let me know if anyone else is up for it and we can figure out a place to meet.

I was there on Christmas night, did quite well.

Heh..I went up there on Christmas too..earlier in the day however. Their buffet was really tasty, had some pretty good eats on there. They seemed a bit understaffed for the crowds however. Ah well. :)

Heh..didnt really know I was going to be there I was just overcome with boredom and decided I wanted to go for a drive and take some more snow pictures. I was surprised how little snow there was up there, I thought I saw reports that they got "a lot." Ah well, what do I know. I drove up to the top level of the parking garage of the ameristar to poke around, it was a mess up there.. :)

I'm thinkin we get there a bit early to get prime seating at the bar to look at the Cocktail Poon serving drinks, but at the same time have good vantage point of the movie screens.

Also, I will be saving up my appetite to down some crab first before heading to the bar to watch the fights and the cocktail servers titties/ass show.

Funny I was going to post earlier today and see if you guys were still going to go, but after driving to work I figured the roads up there would prolly be fairly shitty and it would be safer to stay at work. Ended up going over to the gun for a bit after work tonight however, it was DEAD in there..they should have got the PPV perhaps. :)

You might want to remember that it was New Years Eve, most places have some special prices and menu's for holidays.

In fact I do remeber seeing an advertisment for that in the parking garage elevators for a special dinner and brunch today for New Years.

That really doesnt seem like that much to me for all the stuff they have available...? Had really good service there both times I've been there myself, felt like a nice place to eat and not really a "buffet"

Well, I'll admit I filled up pretty good on the crab legs and the salad before I started venturing around to the other stuff. I'll go back up again sometime this month and try some of the other goodies. :)

Maybe we can make a meet out of it..?
