My brother thinks that his lexus can do 170. He says it has, and he drives an auto. What do you think. The says that is has a chip in it. He said he did 170 here, and that he has the exstended coach edition. He keeps arguing with me, does anyone have a link and can calulate the speed at this alitude.

Even it it is chipped I don't think the low horsepower numbers will be able to bring his top speed up another 20 mph especially on a car so heavy.

Also interesting. the 2007 LS460 has an eight(8) speed automatic.

Ok my brother turns 21 in a few days and he scares me. I have done some pretty stupid stuff and have learned, I am done driving like an ass. My brother is so much worse then I ever was. He things it is a good idea to drive fast in snow. I want to make my next car last and I may tune it, but only use it on a track. I want to live to have a family. I do not understand why the fuck you would push a big car like that over then.

theres no where in colorado he could possibly even think about taking his car up to 170. and if he is freals, id want to slap this guy for being dumb.

Seems like if you're crazy enough on a nice night you could hit that in some of the straights on I-25 up towards Fort Collins

I know of plenty of places you could do 170mph, but only in a car that had the power to reach that speed in the first place. Weston does 160 mph in the mall parking lot. Ask him where you can go.

Actually there is. I had my supra going "pretty fucking fast" once, in Colorado. And yes - it was a bad idea.
