Do these exist? I'd like to start playing in a league and not some sissy flag football. I need a league with full contact. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

You might look into rugby too.

I've thought about rugby but I just don't know about that sport.

I play flag, it's 8 on 8, it gets pretty physical. The only other really option is semi-pro football, in which case you have to buy your own pads....so, little expensive.

I know for soccer they have what's called recreational soccer, where it's basically considered a non-competitive league. I'm sure football has something similar.

yea pads would add up pretty fast. I've wanted to play hockey but it's too much to get started.

That's what I thought but I can't find anything. I was hoping to be able to find a league that was full contact. I know softball has comp leagues like soccer but no luck with football.

Dave, just because you do all those push ups doesn't mean that you are tough enough for football.

LOL stu. I just think it would be good for me to play a contact sport. I was never big enough to play in high school and now I'd like to play. Only one way to find out if I can play or not.

I have heard there are a few around but its very expensive and you travel to play teams in other states. Seem like it would be a blast though. I would deff. be down, I have been looking for something like this.

The only problem with full contact and one of many reasons why they don't have a lot of leagues is becasue people usually have to go to work in the morning. If you get hurt the league doesn't want you holding them responsible if you miss work, break a leg, etc.
