Well, for anyone who has been waiting for this, it is happening. The software has been released for public download (both PC and Mac!). Feel free to download and play with it at: http://www.hrtuning.com/

The help files/documentation are coming out shortly, so if you have any questions that aren't immediately apparent, you can either wait for them or ask me here :).

Here's the honda-tech thread about it (already has a couple common q/a since the docs aren't out yet): http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1824238

I will be selling the RTP boards locally with package deals available for install, tuning or both install and tuning. I will personally have a handful available around the end of next week and many more will be available shortly after that. FYI existing users: you get a discount, your current maps will transfer over directly, and your old quotes for tuning will still be honored.

I have been running the RTP on my personal car all last year and I am extremely happy with it. It just plain works! No worrying about bugs in your engine management! No worring about sorting though hacks, patches or add-ons, different codebases or versions, etc.. Real time tuning, EXTREMELY fast datalogging, amazing results. The back-to-back repeatability as well as the ability to properly run all the little details is amazing. Plus, BlueTooth tuning is cool ;)

The biggest thing is that anyone can tune it. There are a few other minor things, but none of them affect how the car runs. Basically, if you want to make changes yourself then you can get this board. If you don't, then the existing system is exactly the same and there is no need to upgrade.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post pricing stuff in the public forum, although I messaged 1EightT about becoming a HAI sponsor.

Jeremy I don't think I would screw around with your master tunning so I prolly don't need this right.

Correct.... that's the biggest difference. If you don't want to mess with the tune, you are not losing out at all by staying with the current system.

First batch is officially in my hands. All but one board is spoken for. Next batch should be available ASAP.
