So holy shit. I had to make a run to the store, and when I came out... 2"-4" of snow on the ground. I just had the most treacherous drive home EVER. haha

I hit a curb at about 25-30 when my car decided to drive itself sideways.

There was really nothing I could do as far as correcting or slowing down at that point, so I just braced myself and thought out loud, "This is going to suck!" The sound of the impact alone was frightening.

Surprisingly the only damage was to one of the new GT3's... and it's just a large skuff on the edge. ONLY A SCUFF! I thought I surely bent both rims and some suspension components. ROTA FTW!

The second I got home and put the groceries away, I had the lovely 14" all seasons back on. Whew!

Oh yea... It was in my EG... The FG is safe and warm. Thankfully.

Haha... those things are waaay too good in the snow.

Well the majority of people have NO idea that they are not supposed to drive at full speed in the snow. I just had tires that were not designed for cold and snow. As soon as I put the 14" all seasons on, it was like night and day. I can actually stop without sliding sideways for 100ft. haha.

I saw a 4dr 99 civic that hit a pole HARD last night. Owner just left it.

Oh, and on my way home from work last night, some girl got hit by a car at like 40 and went flying. She stood up, got her shoes, and walked off. I was like :wtf:

I'd be in pain too... That would suck megahard. I'm glad it's just a $100 rota wheel. And amazingly it's only a scuff.

:werd: And people wonder why many others put on Rotas instead of the $1500 actual wheels!

Youre the new guy at the corsport meets with the supercharged FG right??
I didnt know you had an h22 eg, you should bring that out next time, id be interested in taking a peak/goin for a ride. I want to compare an eg coupe to an ek coupe and see the differences.

Yep that's me. The EG in my original post does not have an H22. It's stock until spring time. I do have a EG Coupe (EJ1) with an H22 swap. It's actually being delivered here today from Connecticut where it's been sitting for a couple of years. I also actually just sold the swap, and it doesn't run... So I wouldn't be able to bring it to any meets :(

I take it you've visited civic.plex.nu? There's more info on the H22 Coupe there, but like I said... getting parted out :(

Another reason I refuse to drive the FG in the winter, especially once I have the $2500 Volk TE-37 Time Attacks and $850 Tires. If the damn wheels ever get delivered. (waiting since April)

Oh and it turns out I did break something. Probably the ball joint. But when I brake, the front end tremors violently, and my front right tire moves a few inches forwards.

Not really a big deal, as I'll be swapping the suspension from my old coupe to my hatch, but I didn't notice it until last night driving at highway speeds down to the springs. I didn't notice it in the snow at <20mph.

Yeah, I was gonna say. World One has gotten several shipments in. I've even seen a few folks buy from them and then put it up for sale.
